Set in original box, The very collectable great Lionel 1587 Capitol Limited Passenger Set from 1975. It is an 027 Guage electric train set with die-cast steam engine featuring Mighty Sound of Steam working smoke and headlight plus illuminated passenger cars. The engine is the 8304 Baltimore and Ohio 4-4-2, and the cars are the 9517 Capital City Coach, 9518 National View Observation car, and the 9519 B&O Combination car. Extra rail extension pieces included - curved and straight. Sold in "as is" condition. Have not seen train set running for around 20 years, so cannot confirm or disconfirm it"s current working condition. An absolute USA classic. A must have for any serious train hobby enthusiast.
